Welcome to Brackenrigg Lodge self catering, properties situated in the heart of the English Lake District.

Brackenrigg Lodge is a traditional early 20th Century house set in over 3 acres of landscaped gardens. The lodge also has a delightful holiday apartment and a lovely detached holiday cottage. Brackenrigg Lodge is set in the peace and quiet of its own grounds yet is only 10 minutes walk to the hustle and bustle of Bowness village and the lakeshore.

Home from home comforts, close to village and lake shore. Arrival time Saturday 14.00 onwards. Departure time 09.30 Saturdays.

Leave the M6 at jct 36 and follow directions for the A590 and then the A591 to Windermere. As you enter Windermere, turn left at the traffic island near the railway station onto the A5074 towards Bowness. Opposite St. Martins church in the centre of Bowness turn left onto the A5074 signposted Kendal. Approximately 0.5 miles fork left into Windy Hall Road. Brackenrigg is on the left at the top of the road about 100yds before the jct with the B5284. Turn into the entrance gate, the house is immediately on your left. Drive just past the house and park on the sloping drive to your left, which is just past the house. The entrance to the apartment is facing you at the bottom of this drive.
