Alcester is a small, attractive town at the heart of one of the most popular tourist areas, yet it escapes the noise and congestion of better known towns. Dorset House is in the centre of Alcester's historic Conservation Area, facing the old town hall and parish church. The house and cottage are fully restored 'Listed' buildings, each well equipped and furnished with antiques. There is parking for up to four cars.

Dorset House is ideal for group for up to 19 people as Dorset House and Dorset Apartment are inter-connecting and can be let as one self catering.

Dorset House (sleeps up to 19)

A spacious Georgian town house with front and rear access and pleasant aspects on all sides.
Dorset House: - Period Entrance Hall. Large Sitting room with imposing 15th-century stone fireplace. Large Dining room. Well-equipped kitchen with glazed doors to Courtyard. Ground floor bathroom with shower attachment, bidet and toilet. First floor: Double bedroom with 5ft bed. Separate toilet. Twin bedroom, Family bathroom. Large double bedroom with sitting area and Cot. 2 x Shower rooms, Large twin bedroom with sitting area. Second floor: Large double bedroom with 5ft bed and twin bedroom with basin, toilet and bidet. Double bedroom and twin bedroom with bathroom shower attachment. Separate Second floor suite: Twin bedroom with en suite bathroom and shower. Single bedroom with en suite bathroom with shower attachment.

Dorset House Cottage (sleeps 4 persons)

The spacious cottage is detached and quiet at the rear entrance to Dorset House.
. Ground Floor: entrance hall; shower room with W.C. and washbasin; sitting room with inglenook fire, Ground floor twin bedroom; fully fitted kitchen/breakfast room.

First Floor: very large twin bedroom with high hipped ceiling; landing with storage area; bathroom with bath/shower W.C. and washbasin. Courtyard garden with outdoor furniture.

Rates: variable depending on number of people and length of stay.

A good range of shops, pubs, restaurants and many other amenities are in easy walking distance.
To the rear, secluded courtyards and a long walled garden lead down to the River Arrow and open country beyond.

Alcester Library has tourist information which includes timetables for bus routes to Stratford-upon-Avon, Birmingham, Evesham and Redditch, where there are onward rail services.

The house and cottage have automatic gas central heating; auto washer; tumble dryer; dishwasher; oven and grill (electric in house, gas in cottage); gas hob; microwave; fridge/freezer; colour T. V. and video; telephone; courtyard garden with outdoor furniture.

All beds have summer/winter duvets. Linen and towels are provided free of charge.
