We are committed to providing you with a relaxing holiday at The Old Dairy, a self contained annexe to the owners' red brick Victorian home. A warm welcome awaits you at the cottage which sleeps 6 and is set in beautiful parkland outside the village of Bradfield St George, close to Bury St Edmunds. The property is surrounded by open farmland. The village pub is 1 mile away, local shop 2 miles and supermarkets 3 miles. Spacious off road car parking area and secure cycle storage area are provided. The cottage provides ample space for storage of muddy boots and plenty of hooks for hanging wet coats. There is a secluded courtyard area with garden furniture and a newly resurfaced tennis court available for visitors' use. Linen, towels and power are included in price. Maps are available of the surrounding area with footpaths from the cottage; pleasant local walks on the river Lark and in the Kings Forest and local cycle routes. Local attractions include the medieval market town of Bury St Edmunds (markets on Wednesday and Saturday) with St Edmundsbury Cathedral, the newly restored Regency Theatre Royal and the Abbey Gardens as well as many good restaurants. Nearby towns of Ipswich, Cambridge, Newmarket (with its race course), Clare, Ely, Lavenham and Long Melford offer historic and interesting tourist attractions.
