Damson Barn, is a 17thC barn conversation, is situated in the centre of the beautiful village of Crosthwaite in the Lyth Valley, an area renowned for its fruit growing. Crosthwaite surrounded by rolling hills and valleys, is an ideal point from which to explore the Windermere and South Lakes area and, with walks right from the door; Damson Barn is an ideal location for walkers, and families wishing to explore the South Lakes area.
The Punch Bowl Inn, located in the village is the Michelin Pub Guide 2009 'Pub of the Year',and recommended by several Good Pub Guides is located in the village, and there are several other pubs within a few minutes drive, all serving excellent food and beer. Damson Barn is a barn conversion presented to a very high standard, creating a very good first impression for arriving guests. A very well presented property, attractively decorated and in very good condition throughout. The large lounge/dining room and bespoke kitchen, are a particular feature. A short scenic drive of about 5 miles will take you to Bowness, and Lake Windermere.

Damson Barn is situated on the open village green and has Back door access to a pathway with clothes line leading to secure outside store, housing garden furniture and barbecue, plus space for bicycles etc. Coal available on site at an extra charge. Private parking for two cars. Will accept one large or two small dogs, no cats.

The nearest shop and post office is at Bowland Bridge, 2 miles also Tesco.com delivers direct to the door but please note the delivery addess is Damson Cottage, Crosthwaite.
